Probably the best choice for winter tires in Canada.

Here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, we get a lot of snow and melts. It's like a winter to spring transition along the whole winter. We bought After buying a Subaru, we decided to equip it with this tire. The Subaru was already good in the snow, and with these tires, it feels extremely safe. I've taken our Subaru into the rocky mountain many times and sometimes even in snow storm.
So far, I've felt secure with this tire under any reasonable conditions. There was one time where the snowfall was so heavy that as I brake, the snow pile up right in front of my car I begin to slide. I have to turn to the curb to avoid an accident.
I had the tires for two winters and am very satisfied with the tire's abilities on wet, dry, snow covered and icy roads. The tire does falter on slushy roads. It seemed like driving with summer tires. I suspect this is due to the limited groves in the tread for the slush to go so the tire rides up on the slush instead of channeling it away.
The tire is very quiet and provides a soft smooth ride. Treadwear has been very good as well. This is important since I drive 90km to work.
Overall great tire.
